In a defiant, if not foolish attempt, this project was developed to strike back. No - no flashy add campaign, no catchy jingle. With the Municipal Election coming in Fall of 2010 - We simply wanted to ask...

Who do YOU want to see on the ballot?

Maybe by providing a forum, for your comments and your candidates, we thought we could once again ignite some interest in this process.

Guess what? It worked. Now over 5,000 people have participated in the first phase of the "Draft A Mayor" Project. Many more are coming on board each day, making comments and suggesting candidates. It been an exciting start to the 2010 Election Year!

Through your encouragement and spurred by such an outpour of interest in the project we've expanded to Phase II. We are now proud to bring two more provinces on board Alberta and Manitoba. We have also expanded from the original seven Ontario cities to welcome an even broader selection.

Keep writing to us. Keep spreading the word. And together maybe we make can make a difference...(to be continued).
